Welcome!

My name is Amanda and I have been grooming pups for over 15 years. My love for animals started at a young age with Ag Science classes in school. When I got to high school I started working for Safe Haven, a local boarding and grooming kennel where I first took interest in grooming, however my heart was set on another career path.

I attended and graduated SUNY Cobleskill's Pre-Veterinary medicine program. I then transferred to SUNY Delhi and their Vet Tech program where I also worked at a local shelter. I applied and was accepted to Cornell, but it was during this time that I decided I'd like to take my passion towards animals in another direction.

I was hired at Petsmart as a bather and later went to academy and was trained to be a stylist. A few years, a baby, and a move later landed me the job as the Grooming Salon Leader at Petco.
Although I've been with corporate grooming for many years and have loved every minute of pampering my pups, an opportunity arose and I knew if was time to head out on my own and thus Pampered Puppy Parlor was born. I am located in the Classy Clip facility in Mark Plaza on Quaker Road in Queensbury. Follow the signs in the lobby and look for my logo.

Thanks to my training and years of hands-on experience, I have the ability to handle puppies, elderly pups and many different breeds with a variety of coat types and care needs. I can provide shave downs, puppy cuts, trim ups, and breed specific styling.

If you'd like to stop in and say Hi or take a peek, give me a call, text or email and I'll find a time for you to come down!
